Little Steps Readiness Circle
A play-based school-readiness group preparing young children for their first year of primary school.
Twice a week, children aged 4 to 6 gather for structured play, storytelling, and basic literacy and numeracy activities designed to ease the transition into formal schooling. Facilitators track each child's development informally and flag any concerns to guardians early, well before a child ever sets foot in a classroom. The project currently runs at one site with plans to expand as capacity allows.
