Spiritual Growth & Discipleship Program

Nurturing the hearts and character of the children and families we serve, through scripture, mentorship, and faith rooted in everyday life.

We believe a child's growth isn't only measured in school grades or physical health, it's also shaped by the values, hope, and sense of purpose they carry within them. The Spiritual Growth & Discipleship Program exists to nurture that side of a child's development, offering scripture, mentorship, and faith-centered encouragement alongside everything else we do at Heaven's Home.

Through this program, we distribute Bibles and devotional materials to children and guardian households, often during home visits and community outreach, so that scripture becomes something families can hold, read, and return to on their own time, not just something spoken about in passing. For children old enough to read independently, we encourage quiet, personal time in scripture as part of building a habit of reflection and faith that can carry them through difficult seasons.

This work also reaches guardians directly. We recognize that a family's spiritual foundation often shapes the home a child grows up in, so our outreach doesn't stop at the children alone; we bring materials and encouragement into households as a whole, supporting guardians in nurturing faith alongside everything else they're carrying.

We approach this program with care and respect for each family's own beliefs and circumstances. Participation is always invited, never imposed, and we see this work as one thread among many in a child's overall wellbeing, alongside education, health, safety, and family stability, not separate from it, but woven through it.
